Kyanite:
Kyanite is an aluminum silicate mineral, often occurring as long, striated bladed crystals that may be transparent or translucent. The most common colors for the Metaphysical use Kyanite are blue streaked with white, black, indigo and green. Kyanite can also be found in white, gray, pink and yellow. Kyanite comes from the Greek work Kyanos, meaning “deep blue” and is also known as Rhaeticide or Cyanite. Kyanite crystals that are highly transparent and attractive in color can be cut into gemstones, and are considered to be exotic gems.
Moonstone:
Moonstone’s name is derived from a visual effect or sheen caused by the light being diffracted by structures within the Moonstone. Moonstone has also been used in jewelry for years and `it dates back s far as Roman times when it was believed that Moonstone was created by solidified rays of the moon. Moonstone can be found in Armenia, Australia, Mexico and the United States to name a few.
